This video shows the Amazon Seller stats page on ManageByStats.com. The page shows all sales broken down in many different ways, including by Brand, Product Line, SKU, etc.

This is what we call the Amazon seller
stats page.
It shows your bi-weekly sales statistics
broken down in several different ways.
When you first land on the page you will
see your statistics presented by SKU,
for the last two week period. And the
statistics on this page are always shown
in two-week periods to match Amazon. If
you’re in the middle of a period
it will of course not show a full two-week period at that point.
You can click on the prior button and
move back
one two-week period at a time. Under the prior
and next buttons you will see 5
additional selections for
brand, product line, product name
ASIN and SKU. This will show you the
statistics broken down by
that specific selection instead if
you click on any of those.
For example, clicking on brand will show
you your total numbers for the period by
brand. Clicking on the product line button will break it down by the product line
and so forth. At the bottom of the page
you will see some
additional debits or credits from Amazon
that are not linked to specific products
but are items like warehouse storage
charges
bulk shipping charges to Amazon’s
warehouse,
monthly account charges, etc. And at the
very bottom
you will see the net number after
credits and debits

I love to use Amazon FBA and sell a whole bunch of different items. This video applies to all types of items that you can send in, although I do highlight how I deal with books. It is important that you send in as much as possible at once in order to get the cheapest shipping rate. You get heavily discounted UPS rates because you are shipping to Amazon. There is no limit to the madness that you can achieve on Amazon FBA but it can get to the point where you want someone to just list, pack, and ship the stuff to FBA and I really hit that point a while ago

Hi, this is Nathan holmquist, hope you’re doing well, for this video I’ll show you some sales that happened today and what my strategy is and what I’ve been up to lately. And so for the first book as you can see technically this is a penny book, the lowest used price is 1 penny plus shipping for merchant fulfilled sellers, but if you scroll down, all these are inacceptable and good condition. When you scroll down and get to the very good, really you’re at a 5 dollar book. So just because the lowest price is a penny doesn’t mean it’s worth a penny. About 80 to 90 percent of the books that I find, I sell them as very good condition. So that’s just one thing to keep in mind. And I actually sold this one on fba for 9.95. so just because it’s worth a penny doesn’t mean you have to sell it for a penny on Amazon fba. You can mark that up, and I’ve been experimenting with the bottom of 9.95 lately. I believe after fees, it’s about 5 or 6 dollars that’s left to me. Keep in mind that I probably paid about 50 cents for this book, so that adds up. Sometimes I’ll go to a book sale and I’ll buy 200 to 300 books and that’s a pretty decent profit margin.

Here’s another one that sold today. Lost children of wilder. And for this one you can see that the used price has a buy box with the fba price of 9.99. so as a seller, you have a huge advantage when you sell on fba. Because you show up in this buy box here. So let’s pretend your name is on buyer. You’re gonna go on here, you see the new price that’s 15.93, and you’re gonna see the used price of 9.99. most likely you’re not gonna mess around down here too much and look at the merchant fulfilled even though it is cheaper, because all you have to do is click on here. It’s 1 or 2 clicks. You get the book in 2 days. Buyers are busy, they’re not gonna want to mess around with these books down here. That’s another huge advantage of fba. And sure enough this one sold at 9.95, here’s another one, the lowest used price is 1.20, and I sold this one at 9.95, tears of a warrior. And here’s another one that has a buy box of 10.99. and as you can see that is a huge spread between the lowest non fba and the fba price. It’s a 1.11 all the way to 10.99, so you have advantages when you’re selling on fba. And this one sold for 9.95. so as you can see, you get tremendous advantages of selling on fba. You can sell the lower cost books, you can set the minimum price to 9.95, 8.95, 11.95. you just have to make sure there’s not too many other fba competitions selling that same book. You can get away with it when there’s 1, 2, 3 other sellers. If there’s 20 other fba sellers, then it’s probably not a good idea to buy that book. Most of the scanners and apps on smart phones where you check the prices show the Amazon fba prices so you have all of that information at your book sales. So I just wanted to show you what I’m up to, all 4 of these sales were today. I know it doesn’t seem like much, 9 dollars, 10 dollars, but it really adds up when you buy these books cheap and you sell them in bulk. Hi, this is Nathan holmquist, and for this video I’m going to show you some of my top sales in march. I’m going to show some of the Amazon listing and maybe show some pricing strategies. I’ll show the sales price, what I sold it at, the profit that I made, and where I got the item as well. So let’s go ahead and get started. The number one sale is this one right here, paramedic practice today. And actually when I sold it, about a month ago, it was around 200 dollars. There’s a few sellers selling it at 200, around 200. Now looks like there’s one seller selling it for 999 dollars. I have no idea if this seller is going to get that much for it. it does have a good rank of 895,000. But anyway, when I was, when I sold it, I just sold it at 240, priced it at 240 and it sold right away. And maybe I should have priced it higher, but anyway, it was still a good sale. And I’ll go ahead and show you, here’s the screenshot from my Amazon account, I sold it for 240 after Amazon fees, made 195 dollars on it. and I bought it for 25 dollars from someone on craigslist. I bought a couple books from this guy, and the other one was pretty profitable as well. I paid him 50 dollars for both books, so this one was 25 dollars, so it’s 170 dollar profit, just from this one transaction here.

That sold on march 7th. About 3 weeks ago. So that’s the, one of the top sales from march. And I have a few others. This one is another textbook called understanding business. And as you can see the new price is 123, used price 75 dollars. Really good rank of 7000. And see what the lowest FBA is here. FBA starts at 117. So there you can just see how valuable FBA is. You can price it 40 dollars higher than the lowest merchant fulfilled price there. So anyway, I sold this one understanding business for 110 dollars. And after Amazon fees, I got 89 dollars to me. Paid 12.50 for this book, this is, usually when I buy books on craigslist, I’m buying multiple textbooks. I believe I bought 2 to 4. I think this is 2 books from this guy, paid him 25 bucks for both books. This one was 12.50, this was a craigslist transaction as well. That’s a 77 dollar profit. This one sold a couple weeks ago on march 17th. And this is probably the most bizarre one. This is called casa California. The lowest merchant fulfilled price is 54 dollars. Decent rank of 402,000. I don’t think there’s any FBA sellers on this one. No FBA sellers. And let’s see here, I sold this one for 79 dollars. So after fees that’s 63 dollars to me. I paid just over 5 dollars for this. I actually bought this on Amazon, because someone probably priced it too low on accident, and I saw it, so I just ended up buying it, after it arrived at my house, I decided to FBA, and sold it for 79 dollars. It’s possible to buy on Amazon and sell on Amazon. So let me just go back to see where it says here you purchased this item on February 11th, 2014. So I paid for this 1.54 for it, plus 3.99 shipping, so my total cost was 5 dollars and 53 cents. So anyway, that doesn’t happen all the time, but it does happen occasionally. So yeah, so you can find items on Amazon as well. And just resend it. so that was a 58 dollar profit for that one. Next one chart your success on the compass test. Merchant fulfilled price, 37.99. no FBA sellers. Let’s see what the rank was on this. Decent, 271,000. And I sold this one for 68.87, and after all fees I got 55 dollars, only paid 1.10 for this one at a library book sale. So after all fees that leaves me with a 54 dollar profit, and this one sold on march 4th. So this one probably has the best ROI, return on investment for this one. And last one, I normally don’t buy toys. But I saw this one at a thrift store and it was sealed. McFarlane toys movie maniacs. I really don’t remember if there’s an FBA seller at the time when I bought this. Let’s see what the rank is, 233,000, a bit high for toys. And I sold this one for 59 bucks after all fees, that leaves me with 47.12, and I paid 8 dollars for this at a thrift store. So that leaves me with 39.12, and that one sold on march 1st.
