Every day you should be posting and tweeting and linking people to your book.
This will take time, this is what PR people do for you. There really is no need to pay a commission on these services but if you want to, go ahead.
Facebook and twitter as well as google can offer you advertising for your sites for a pay per click fee see google AdWords.
Now grow your followers and your fan base.
It is also important to blog blogs are free just google free blogs and is a great way to keep in touch with fans. Link everything publish everything on every site this will dramatically reduce the amount of post that you need.
You should have a schedule that will of course always change. I try to let my personality shine through but you can take it where ever you want, talk about books only, art your process or music.
I also recommend a YouTube channel a lot of people talk and record themselves I’m a little camera shy so I like to use a slide show, but if you have a face for TV connect with your viewers sell yourself sell your books.
On YouTube you can make and publish your own book trailers do reviews of other books TV movies find out what people like yourself are into and do that or do something completely different it’s up to you. I like to advertise people and things that I like for free.
I also like to tell people what I’m doing I found a lot of people are interested in why I left my full time teaching job to do this and are curious how I make so much money at it.
I tell them on my knees in prayer 
Posting everyday always responding to readers and comments. I tried communities but it didn’t work well all they seem to do is whine about everything what a bunch of babies, I have only encountered a handful of indie authors that I can tolerate, the rest think there the Queen or King of England.
Once you have social media set up and you are on a regular schedule of posting every day. Now it’s time to make more money promoting yourself.
