This is a speed test using a similar script for the Amazon FireTV and the Xbox One. Both devices were put through the paces switching streaming apps and playing content. Additionally, both were tested using the voice search capabilities on both devices. In the end, the Amazon FireTV bested the Xbox One by over one minute! The FireTV is able to multi-task impressively and is very quick moving around from content to content. The addition of the Plex app on the FireTV is a big advantage (currently) over the Xbox One for those with lots of content on their home computers.
