If you ever wanted to build an on-line passive income, then Amazon is probably the simplest and easiest way to do it without spending a lot of time and money. I have been able to earn some extra cash selling products on Amazon. It’s pretty simple and you can create a seller account right now at https://sellercentral.amazon.com.

Here are several ways to make money with Amazon:

Sell what you own

Instead of re-gifting that toy, why not sell it on Amazon? If you want to get the maximum price for your product, then you need make sure what you sell is new and in-box condition. To make sure you make a profit you need to make sure that it cost about 25% of what the price is listed on Amazon. This ensures that you once you factor in the cost of shipping and the fee that Amazon charges to give you access to their buyers community, you still can make a profit.

Sell what local retailers are offering at a deep clearance price

Want to sell a product without owning it? What I would normally do with a smartphone is to download Amazon’s Seller App and scan the barcode of products that stores like Wal-Mart or Target have on their clearance shelf. I would look for items that are normally price 3-4 times the clearance price but small and lightweight packaging. The app will let you confirm what the prices you can sell the item on Amazon as well. This ensures maximum profit by minimizing shipping cost. As for the Amazon fees, unfortunately you do not have control over this.

Sell from a supplier

If you really want to make this a serious six figure business then you need to scale it up and have Amazon be your fulfillment provider. For a hobby, you can sell one, two or ten items per month, but what if you have products that will sell 100, 200 or more per month? If you have a full time job, this would be nearly impossible. This is why Amazon created their FBA (Fulfillment By Amazon). Amazon will literally receive your products from your supplier and handle everything from taking orders, to providing customer service, and handling returns. You will even get access to Amazon Prime customers. All you need to do is make sure you have enough inventories and count your profit.
The only thing that will make the latter model work is to find the right product to sell and the supplier who can provide it. This is where the suite of Ecom Exposed softwares have really help me save a tremendous amount of time searching for the right product and the right supplier.

– Longest days on the top 100
– Highest number of reviews
