In this video I show you how to set up an Amazon Associates affiliate account so that you can promote products using your own unique affiliate ID.

Each Amazon site requires you to sign up to their affiliate scheme, so I have signed up to be an Amazon Associate for both Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com.

I walk you through the steps needed to sign up to the scheme, and then once your application has been approved then you are good to go. I also show you how to get the specific links for particular products, although Amazon itself has much more detailed instructions – we’d be here for a lot longer if I were to go through it all!

My blog post (linked above) also covers the various payment tiers and eligible items for promotion – after all, there’s not much point in promoting something that Amazon won’t pay you for.
