Amazon is set to lose out on more than £2.7 million in the run-up to Christmas, according to a group campaigning for people in the UK to refrain from purchasing products from the online retailer. Amazon Anonymous is asking people to go Amazon-free for the holiday season and says 12,000 people so far have pledged to do their shopping elsewhere. The group, started by three former Amazon customers, told Mashable that, on average, people are pledging not to spend £100 with the company.
